lamp with motion sensor
You are probably familiar with lamps that switch on when someone approaches them. This is because there is a motion sensor built into the lamp. But how does a lamp with a motion sensor work? First of all, it is useful to look at the advantages of such a sensor. A lamp that does not need to be pressed is of course very handy. The lamp turns on and off by itself without you having to do anything. Because the lamp turns itself off again, this can save energy. In addition, you will never have to search for the light switch in the dark again.
How does a motion sensor lamp work?
How does a lamp know when to turn on and when to turn off? The lamp is equipped with a sensor that emits infrared waves. These effects are very sensitive to heat. A person or animal gives off heat. When the sensor detects the heat, it sends a signal to the lamp. The lamp then knows that something or someone is passing by and will start burning. The lamp does not really react to the movement but to the difference in heat.
