The European directives around the ECE REG 65 named the requirements for optical and acoustic signals for vehicles and semi-trailers.

This regulation has been in force since 1 March 2014 for amber coloured (orange-yellow) flashing, flashing and warning lights.

• Escorting transports for which an exemption has been granted;
