TRALERT® controllers and control panels

With a controller , you can control the lighting on a vehicle from the cab: switch it on and off, dim it, change the function or colour, or make several lights flash simultaneously. The controllers in this category operate on 12 and 24 Volts, so the same control unit can be used on a van, tractor or semi-trailer.

The control panels range from a mini-controller with four functions to panels with four or eight channels, the latter of which can also be operated via an app. More channels mean you can control more lighting groups independently of one another — for example, work lights, signalling lights and interior lighting via separate buttons. The ID-11 and ID-11 Plus go hand in hand: the Plus version comes complete with a connection box.

As well as panels, you’ll find the units that control the switching behaviour here. A synchronisation unit makes individual warning lights flash in unison, a dimming module controls up to five lights simultaneously and is IP66-rated, and a motion sensor automatically switches the lighting on when movement is detected. For the RGB LED strips, there is a separate control unit and a remote control.

When making your selection, consider the number of channels, the maximum current in amperes that the unit can switch, and the mounting location: a panel in the cab has different IP rating requirements to a module that is concealed within the chassis.
