Red arrow

What is a red arrow?
Working safely in your logistics centre? If you work with forklifts, you've certainly seen it pass by. red arrow lights are also known as "safety lights" because they are designed to make the forklift environment safer. To create a safe environment in your logistics centre, you need to equip your forklifts with red arrow technology. The light projects a clearly marked red arrow on the floor, warning others to stay at a safe distance from the forklift. The red arrow helps where audible alarms stop. The safety lights can be mounted on the front or rear of the forklift. The red arrow is specially designed for indoor environments and provides a clear light image.
Installing a safety light
It is useful to mount safety lights in a very strategic place. In many cases, the roof of a forklift seems a good place with sufficient mounting and connection options. When placing the safety light, remember to adjust the red arrow correctly. The warning effect works best when the red arrow reaches clear to the ground and is not dimmed or faded. When connecting a safety light, it is important to check that it is correctly aligned. For safety lights, we recommend an optimal projection surface of 2.5 metres. The safety lights are also waterproof.
The function of the red arrow
The function of the red arrow of the safety light, is to demarcate the forklift's movement/directional area. In the logistics centre where it can often be noisy, the alarm sound can get lost in the background noise. Thus, a warning in the shape of an LED arrow light can be more pleasant and safer to operate in some cases.
