What are block lamps?

In theory, the term ''block lights'' is another name for square rear lights. Square rear lights are available in different designs and colours. The lights are widely used as rear lights on trucks or semi-trailers, for example, but also on other vehicles.

What are the lights used for?

Block lights are mainly used as rear lights or brake lights. This can be on both test and semi-trailers. On test, it is even the case that several are mounted simultaneously on one or both sides.

What different block lamps are there?

TRALERT® has an enormously wide range when it comes to block lamps. These are explained below, along with the difference between each block lamp. All these lights and other lights can be ordered from TRALERT®. View our entire range of LED lighting.

The first series of block lights is the 80-serie configurable rear lights. In this series, a single block lamp has dimensions of 100 x 100 x 28mm. In addition, the block lamp is available as a single light, a pair, a trio or a quadruple.

The second series is the 100-serie configurable rear lights. In this series, a single block lamp has dimensions of 120 x 120 x 31mm. In addition, the block lamp is available as a single light, a pair, a trio or a quadruple.

The third series is the 125 series of configurable rear lights. In this series, a single block lamp has dimensions of 147 x 147 x 31mm. In addition, the block lamp is available as a single light, as a pair, as a triplet or as a quad.

These block lamps can be ordered in 12V and 24V from TRALERT®. The lights are already used on many trucks and 12V semi-trailers. Besides the block lights, TRALERT® also offers other types of lights.
