As account manager West Netherlands, you are responsible for the prospects and existing partners in West Netherlands. You manage your own customer portfolio, focusing on both retention and acquisition. You know your (potential) customers and their needs inside out and you visit your customers regularly according to your own schedule. With your enthusiastic and proactive attitude, you convince relations and prospects of the latest products and you build up long-term relations with existing and new relations.

Satisfied customers and good results: that's what gives you energy! You think big, come up with ideas and create solutions that contribute to the set targets. You are communicatively strong, flexible and maintain an overview, even when the situation changes.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Initiating the sales process by scheduling appointments with existing and potential customers;
  • Relationship management, recommending new products and focusing on market opportunities;
  • Identifying market potential and qualifying accounts/clients;
  • Commercial actions to customers. Preparing actions and making proposals;
  • Visiting customers according to classification agreements;
  • Creating visit reports (CRM handling);
  • Cold acquisition;
  • Follow-up of issued offers;
  • Setting targets/turnover goals.

  • Living in West Netherlands (Province of North or South Holland);
  • HBO thinking level;
  • Commercial education or experience required;
  • Experience with the industry is a plus;
  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience.
