Question
For the global leader in heavy machinery, Hitachi, safety is of paramount importance. However, a challenge they faced was optimizing the lighting on their excavators to enhance both operator efficiency and safety. While Hitachi was able to achieve homogeneous lighting, they were in search of a more advanced and customized solution that would further enhance the work environment for the machine operator.
Objective
As an expert in LED vehicle lighting, TRALERT® was approached to take on this challenge. Our objective was simple: create a customized lighting system for Hitachi excavators that meets both the company's specific requirements and the strictest safety standards. Additionally, the solution had to facilitate the work of the operators and ensure their health and safety.
Result
The TRALERT® team collaborated closely with Hitachi engineers to understand the demands and challenges of the workplace. After months of research and development, we successfully delivered an innovative LED lighting solution that aligns perfectly with Hitachi's needs.
TRALERT®'s customized lighting solution has dramatically improved the light quality on Hitachi excavators. Through precise lamp placement, the right color temperature, and optimal light intensity, achieving a uniform and even light distribution is now possible.
