What is a driving light?

A driving light is a light that can be used in many different sectors. Driving lights are used in the off-road world but also, for example, in the agricultural, transport and shipping sectors. An LED driving light gives a clear light image. Some driving lights are equipped with position lights. This means the driving lights can also be used during the day in order to be more visible in traffic, for example. As an LED driving light is used for many different vehicles, many driving lights are multi-voltage equipped. A driving light is also called a spotbeam.

Difference between driving lights and flood beams

The difference between a driving light and a flood beam is fairly easy to explain. The answer is in the name. An atomiser specialises in giving light far to the front. You can work very precisely because the light is spread at an angle of 30 degrees or less. A flood beam spreads the light more around itself. As a result, the light does not travel as far compared to a driving light but you can see more around it. There is also lighting that can be used for both, this is a combi beam.

Multivoltage

Most driving lights are multi-voltage equipped. This is because they can be used in many different situations. This means that the light works at different voltages. Multivoltage ranges from 12-24v to 9-36v. There is always a light suitable for your connection.
