Meet Santa Claus in person, cross the Arctic Circle, search for the enchanting Northern Lights, and park your vehicle at the northernmost point of Europe, the North Cape. About
North Cape Challenge
The North Cape Challenge is an event where the Dutch unite in the fight against cancer for the KWF. This challenge aims to collect donations, with all proceeds donated to the KWF Cancer Fund. TRALERT® is proudly a partner of this initiative. It is a beautiful tradition that has been taking place since 2011. During the journey, participants can experience special sights along the way, including the spectacle of the Northern Lights.

About the project
North Cape Challenge
Question
"How can TRALERT® ensure that the participants of the North Cape Challenge can safely and well-illuminated brave the dark nights of Scandinavia?"
Objective
The project aimed to ensure that all vehicles equipped with TRALERT® lighting could safely reach the North Cape, both during the day and at night. We intended to achieve this by leveraging the technical expertise available within TRALERT® to develop a customized solution. In this way, we sought to find the optimal lighting solution for each vehicle challenging the North Cape.
Result
The result transcended purely technical aspects. Not only did all vehicles with TRALERT® lighting reach the finish line, but the participants were able to do so with a sense of security and confidence in their vehicles, even under the challenging conditions of the North Cape.

KWF Cancer Research is a Dutch non-profit organization founded in 1949. The foundation raises funds to finance scientific research on cancer, with the aim of discovering effective treatments, improving diagnostic methods, and ultimately preventing cancer.
In addition to supporting research, KWF provides information on cancer prevention, offers support to patients and their families, and promotes awareness about cancer in society.
KWF collaborates with various partners, including scientists, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and volunteers, to collectively combat the fight against cancer.
