SEMI LOW LOADER
In collaboration with LAKO , this semi-flatbed for Wessels Transport has been fitted with TRALERT® plug-&-play semi-trailer lighting. Designed with visibility, durability and professional use in mind.

LAKO develops high-quality 24V trailers for heavy-duty equipment. Adjustable semi-low-loaders have been built for Wessels Transport, which required a smart wiring harness.
To this end, LAKO enlisted the help of TRALERT® for a complete lighting solution, including wiring harnesses, accessories and fittings. A key principle was plug-&-play functionality, to save time and costs during surface mounting whilst complying with all statutory UN ECE requirements.
The result is a trailer with a fully integrated lighting system. The extra-long cable retracts automatically as the trailer is extended. Other cables and individual lights are fitted with plug-&-play connectors, such as SuperSeal connectors for width and licence plate lights.

TO IMPLEMENTATION
A complete plug-&-play mountable lighting package has been developed for Lako. However, for a length-adjustable semi-trailer, this is an extensive process, involving the necessary customisation.
From drawing board to realisation, Lako s engineers and TRALERT® product specialists worked closely together to get things right. This included configuring the entire wiring harnesses, but also complying with all the laws and regulations required for approval.
Finally, the individual lighting must be plug-&-play connectable, fit seamlessly into the bodywork and increase working comfort for the driver.
